Dr. Yuan, Jia

Dr. Jia Yuan obtained his PhD in Economics from the University of Minnesota in 2009. He is now an assistant professor of business economics at the University of Macau. His research mainly focuses on applied economics. Right now, he is concentrating on three areas: (1) commercial gaming industry especially focused on the individual gambling behavior; (2) health care industry focused on the individual healthcare consumption choice; (3) US motion movie industry, especially to understand the movie demand function with serial correlated shocks.
