About Beijing:

Beijing, the “Capital of a thousand years”, is an ancient city with a rich history. Its long history means that Beijing is a precious cultural treasure. It is home to the Great Wall, the Summer Palace, the Forbidden City, and Heaven Temple which have all been confirmed as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. However, the best representatives of Beijing are the vanishing Hutongs and square courtyards. Through hundreds of years, they have become symbols of Beijing’s life. Beijing is also a fast-growing modern city with high-rise buildings, shopping malls, and vast international hotels, connected by an intricate freeway system crisscrossing the city. Everywhere, the old-fashioned scene and modern culture are combined to present a brand new visage of Beijing.
